Hi everyone! I'm Julie, Master Local Leader and Co-Founder of Local Barre Fitness.

How would you describe your class style?

Non stop! My goal is to keep you moving the entire class - provide a full body burn, strategically incorporate “sneaky" cardio throughout, and encourage you to push yourself as hard as you want so you can finish your class PROUD!

Singing and moving along to your favourite tracks is always encouraged - when your favourite song is blaring, who cares if your legs are burning and your heart rate is pumping?!

What's your favourite song to barre to the beat to?

Oh I have so many go to's! Songs that make you WANT to move, and push yourself to the next level! To name a few:

I have always been drawn to soft songs with a strong catchy beat - Think Malibu by Miley Cyrus. Sometimes it's nice to get a bit introspective - just you, the beat, and the burn.

I LOVE a good sing along pop song - Think Taylor, Ariana, Selena, Carly Rae.

Drake, Kanye, or old school hip hop - the perfect beat for long intense barre tracks!

A classic good ol’ fashion remix with a heavy beat drop for those high energy cardio tracks!
